This email list was created so that information relevant to psychology students at Northern Illinois University could be distributed. The Department of Psychology at NIU administrates this list. A FEW FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Do I need to be a psych major to join the list? No, anyone interested in psychology at NIU can and is encouraged to join the list, although some information will be most relevant to those majoring in psychology. How often should I expect to receive listserv emails? Messages will go out to the list approximately once a week and all posts will require approval. This list will be used with discretion, and is not intended to flood your inbox. Do I need to enroll using my NIU email address? No, you can use any account that is convenient for you. How do I UNSUBSCRIBE from the list? Scroll to the bottom of this page and enter your email address next to the button that says "Unsubscribe or Edit Options" and click the button. Without having to enter a password, click "Unsubscribe." You will then receive an email asking you to confirm your desire to unsubscribe from the list. If this does not work, it may be because the email address you used to subscribe to the list is not the email address from which you unsubscribed. If you are no longer able to access that other email account, please contact the Department of Psychology main office for assistance. Using PsycStudents

Subscribing to PsycStudents
Subscribe to PsycStudents by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
